One more tonight because it came out pretty good after I slapped a 1-pole lowpass over it

@Binkle pretty good but it needs more "rahh" and less "beep boop"

@RoyUnderhill can you give me an example of "rahh"? If so I can make a fresh batch

@RoyUnderhill while you are being a bit rusey my autismo isn't going to let me sleep until I understand; if you listen to ~3:10 there are two percussion parts (1 drum and 1 clack-clack-thing), the vocals, and a rising pad synth. When you say "rahh" you mean the pad synth, right? Also what on earth is that file format? I've never seen one of those before

@Binkle now to got me reminiscing about the time I was a kid I got all my money swindled by a carnie blackula at the state fair. Awesome times.

@Binkle I literally don't know music besides that year I had a guitar teacher who was coal black gigga-nigga watermelon vampire lips, out of his fucking mind, but he was a professional jimmy hendrix impersonator and good God could he shred. I'm guessing the pad synth, Christopher Nolan horn bwah.

@RoyUnderhill That's the one. Might take me a bit of experimentation since I've never tried to make one of those before. It sounds like a simple wave (like a pulse-wave) + a moving lowpass/bandpass might do it? Presumably the frequency cutoff would be tied to the envelope - maybe proportional to the attack-level? HmmmAlso lol what is it with music teachers and being outta they mind? I remember one of my favorites was a trumpet teacher I had a few years back. Hard-as-nails new yorker type who was a pro classical guy until his neck fucking exploded on him mid-performance. Walking into a lesson it was 50/50 between him talking about zen-Buddhism shit and cussing you out for not having your shit on lock. He was a cool guy

@Binkle my guy just disappeared one weekend. Left me a note saying that he had prophesied a solar flare in a week, he was moving into some cave to prepare, and some rough notes for me how to survive the apocalypse. Never came back.

@Binkle early 2000s? It's not that there is going to be a cataclysm. it's a rising of the river that will never stop, not a tsunami.
