Clue Period Tracker——————————————————-Hi there,As there is no direct contact for customer services on your website I am contacting the press office and hope you will pass this on.I’m sure your inclusion policy means you will disregard my genuine concern and you will no doubt be fine with losing a user. Please do not use my name outside of this email as I have a baby daughter and I’m sure you are aware of the vitriol, threats and harassment people receive for stating my concerns. This is a statement of documented fact and there is no point denying this is the case.I would like it on record that i have stopped using your app because I feel betrayed that Clue, the period tracker that helped me conceive my daughter, would hold the position that not only women menstruate. This is biologically and medically inaccurate and part of a disingenuous trend to appear inclusive while excluding the very people who actively need your contraception- biological women. Transmen are biologically female, the removal of the word women plays into the idea that ‘some men menstruate’ and ‘some men conceive’ they don’t and never have. To suggest otherwise is a betrayal of the many thousands of women who have suffered and died in pregnancy and childbirth and as a result of their reproductive potential.I will be using a service that is prepared to categorically state that only women menstruate regardless of how they identify and not play into regressive stereotypes of what a woman should be.Yours,
