@Haydar @horia So OpenBSD doesn’t just feel slow. I had the impression that surfing in Firefox on my ThinkPad was noticeably slower than on the same machine in NetBSD, but thought I just imagine it because you can’t feel a 10% difference. Apparently it’s much more than that then :(

@js @Haydar @horia On 6.8 or current? I remember something related to gettimeofday which was slowing down Firefox specifically and which got fixed in recent releases

@allison @horia @Haydar I‘m not even on 6.8 yet - haven’t turned on that machine in a while. Basically since I got a PineBook Pro it has been collecting dust :D
