If you listened to Trump's CPAC speech, he was not saying "I'll ride in on a white horse and save the day! Put your feet up! Relax! Enjoy the show!" Far from it. His speech was a rallying cry and a call to action for people at the ground level to get busy and get to work in preparation for the next two election cycles.His speech also should have laid to rest forever any babbling about a 3rd party challenge in 2022 or 2024.

I for one am hoping Thomas is right. He has pointed to a lot of things that make his theory very plausible. @drawandstrike my observations from the many interactions I have in real daily life: most people aren’t sure how to get involved. They have been busy living their lives and hoping to be left alone. Then when they ask what they can do, (and this has happened to me, here) their are called lazy or unintelligent. When I was a collegiate athlete, I had one coach that used negative reinforcement and shame as his tool for motivation. There are some people who thrive in this environment. I do not. 1

@Aloe_Vera In the Spring of 1980 the county I lived in laid off more than 25,000 peopleThe manufacturing demise in SE PAThat included my factory.Firestone had transferred me to Pottstown. In Akron Firestone was closing their two factories too. I think Plant 2 was more than 10k out of work.
