       @tk They take too long, I'd rather do it myself so I can have my phone back in 15 minutes instead of hours or a couple days if they're really busy.hell, sometimes just scheduling the appointment can be weeks around here.I do have AppleCare but I prefer to save it for when I really wreck the phone.Also I don't like when they wipe your phone. It takes me too damn long to get my data restored. A bunch of stuff doesn't come back, even if you have backups.

       @feld @tk to get the most data back, create an encrypted backup using iTunes/Finder, this way your keychain etc gets backuped too

       @aurorus @tk doesn't restore my profiles that I use to configure my email/calendar/contacts, lose all my Apple Wallet stuff, secure enclave wiped which sucks also because I lose one of my SSH keys that way ( https://krypt.co/ )
