A quick poll to #Linux phone users: what desktop do you use on your #PinePhone / #Librem5 / ..., and what are the main drawbacks you found in it?This would be useful to know what projects our readers would be most interested in following.

@tuxdevices Phosh looks very responsive. But if I'm in the bus, Weston would great.

@tuxdevices #phosh, because that's #mobian s default. I would love to try #sxmo , but do not want to switch distributions. Maybe sxmo must be packaged for mobian...

@tuxdevices I use Phosh currently. It's main drawback, in my eyes, is poor performance right now. Lomiri runs much smoother but it's main drawback is lack of apps last I saw.

@tuxdevices Using Phosh because Mobian, but it's definitely my least favorite. It feels to me like something that was made to prioritize basic functionality with no thought so far as to good experience. But I need function atm, so Phosh it is.The biggest annoyance to me is the tap-to-open top menu and app tray. I frequently hit the app tray bar when trying to type which makes actually using the phone a terrible experience.

@tuxdevices I'm using Ubuntu Touch on a Fairphone 3. It works pretty well and the main issue is that the wifi generally disconnects when the phone sleeps

I use Plasma, it is ihmo the most polished, but Phosh would be my choice if performance or stability was a priority. I am not very fond of Lorimi because all the left/right swiping, it doesnt come natural to me, at least not on the Pinephone.

@tuxdevicesI'm surprised #Lomiri came in so low given that it really is the most complete interface out of all of them. That said, #Mobian with #Phosh got the reputation as the most "just works" and #PlaMo has the fact that it got picked as the #PinePhone default.Dang if they're not all good (if incomplete, but moving forward.)
