I think blocks, mutes, unfollows by other people is something we should really not try not to attach negative social connotations to.These are all tools for shaping our personal experience and we should try not to let everyone shape their own timeline without it hurting our pride.Someone can still be friends with you even if you post things they don't actively want on their timeline!

@penny This should honestly be the norm with social media interactions. I wish other social media platforms had better tools to help control your timeline

@penny Yes. Humans, since before recorded history had friends and acquaintances drift in and out of their lives. Now with "social" media those connections never get to rest and causes a social alertness that causes social stress. Prolonged social stress can be alleviated by ghosting and blocking, and so I encourage everyone to use it liberally for their own mental health, (and accept others that need to do it.) #embraceGhosting

@penny I don't really count anyone on here as a friend unless they talk to me 1-1 on Discord or something, otherwise its all parasocial interaction to begin with and I doubt people even notice when I unfollow them.
