afaik red hat licensing targets big corporations, so their prices look astronomical when watched by mere humans :D(I'm not sure what's changing with the latest developments, at work we use debian anyway)

@valhalla @SlowRain (m)asking for money - not my intended meaning either 😅 besides, I work mainly with upstream communities, and I have no idea about the different cost structures for product subscriptions. don't get me wrong, I'm not ungrateful - those pay my paycheck after all. I just don't see the need to concern myself with such details to do my job.
