Gardasil is one of the worst for those effects, and I have seen them first hand, and you don't need a "vaccine" to prevent HPV. Like-wise I and my friends had mumps and chickenpox & then we were immune (true herd immunity). Measles, Polio-- different story. Those vaccines changed the world.

I believe that "anti-vaxxers" are opposed to the metallic adjuvants that are present in vaccines like Gardasil. I don't think that is necessarily "crazy". I would tend to give vaccines for things like measles, small pox, polio, but not chickenpox or HPV. Is there no middle ground?

@Clayrjr I'm sorry about your daughter My niece was also affected by the HPV vaccine. Within months of her vaccine she lost weight, slept constantly, hair falling out. Then her periods stopped. After much testing they determined she is now sterile and has brittle bones. She fell into category 3. She was 17 at the time. Another niece also got the vaccine and is just fine. The thread was about the concern over the overreach...I admitted caving because I have a life to live and a front line job where we have been crippled by Covid so there is a general expectation to get vaccinated to protect the numerous families that would be impacted through class contact.I consulted several RN's who all suggested getting the vaccine because it is a particularly nasty flu. There's lots of reasons people make choices.

@Malenroh1 I didn't call people names who choose not to vaccinate. I labeled the activists who do shout down anyone who doesn't agree with their Anti-vaxx stance. It is a personal choice and folks should extend courtesy to others in that regard. Agree completely.

@mrwizardpc intelligence has been hotly debated and like every other FN thing in the world, politicized.Neuroscience has she'd new insight and basically rewritten the text with the advance of the Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging technology that allows for controlled study of active neural processes. We've learned that intelligence isn't a fixed trait and can be improved during critical periods of brain development...there are definitely genetic influences but far more fluid than thought.

@Clayrjr Do you recommend your patients enlist in drug trials all the time? Is that really want you want for all of them? You must know the original SARS1 vaccines caused death in the test ferrets when they were exposed to the virus yes? They didn’t die from to vaccine but from exposure to the virus. @ReardenSteel The current guidelines I've seen are somewhat speculative. The focus has been on the second dose and timing, more than on down the road projections because the science is currently bound in the still emerging understandings of the virus. It took folks a decade to figure it out with HIV. Viruses are complicated. The COVID vaccine is unprecedented for sure...as is Corona.It will take more longitudinal data to establish treatment baselines.
