       @JackthaToad When I was a young thing, one restaurant where I waitressed used chipped ice, salt, and lemon to clean the coffee pots. Throw a little in pot, swish it around, rinse, and it's sparkles.

       @prchrskd I remember reading somewhere, a long time ago, that the cast iron Japanese teapots “ age” and they use only one kind of tea per pot. I have a couple of those and use loose tea: Jasmine is my favorite then Oolong
