@SusanInVA Does this have anything to do with the weather? I am ignorant of what affects the price of a barrel of oil so I apologize if that’s a dumb question.

@SusanInVA Who's in office in the US doesn't have all that much to do with the price of oil.Daily global oil production is about 80 million barrels. 12 of those are produced by the US. The OPEC countries produce around 35 million barrels a day. OPEC can influence price much more than the US can. It's also important to remember that anything below $80 is unusually low, historically speaking, and that a lot of oil extraction is halted below $60-70 (break-even price).

@SusanInVA Well he's incompetent so it's not surprising. I just don't know enough about the inner workings to attribute it entirely to him. On another note, I still can't believe any amount of Americans voted for a guy that is struggling with dementia that much that he routinely has facial expressions like that. If the Left had any shame left they would be ashamed.🤦‍♀️

@SusanInVA Did you mean 52 or 25? From what I see below, it was 52.20 in Jan. Anyways, Biden & Co are on the path to give us $5/gal of gas, if not more...https://www.macrotrends.net/1369/crude-oil-price-history-chart
