@Movietime_Blues I remember years of systematic attacks in the press here and abroad. I remember the Democrats resorting to treason to undermine his presidency.And I remember so-called conservatives joining the Democrats and handing Congress to Pelosi and Reid, thus effectively ending Bush's presidency in 2006.

I wasn’t and no one I know who voted for Trump twice, never paid attention to politics back then. Everyone I know, let’s say 25 people, never even knew who the POTUS was at any given time, lol. Now they all do and are paying close attention.

A family member was a professional athlete and there was a pretty popular movie made about that person. I’m certainly not insulated. My experience is a microcosm. Of the ~25 people I know who voted in 2016/2020, 24 of them never paid attention until 2016.Voter turnout records were broken in 2020.
