@ThomasWic I bought the original Talas album well before Billy played in DLR’s band. I think he showed up in Mike Varney’s “Names of Note” column in Guitar Player magazine. “Shy Boy”, which Billy wrote, ended up on “Eat Em and Smile”. Your observation that Billy is the EVH of bass playing is spot on.

@ThomasWic Eddie was more personable and humble is his later years Thomas. I read a lot of info from other artists after his death and he was pretty generous also.
