Fast forward to 2021 and my brother evicts me from OUR Vegas house for a bogus reason.He pushed and pushed and pushed until I reacted with sarcasm, and then he got all huffy and demanded to know what the parameters of our conversations were.When I told him to do some self-reflection and then told him to stop interrupting me--he&#39;s a chronic interrupter--he hung up on me and said I couldn&#39;t live there.

For a full day, I explored my options.There were none.I had to start all over again, with no house or furniture, and he was going to pay me only what was left on the mortgage, NOT half of what the house is worth now.Then the solution came to me:I emailed him that I was going to move into our parents&#39; house, and he could take me to court to get me out.He meekly accepted, since after he has a tantrum,he always feels bad.Now he wants to be buddies again.

@ThomasWic I&#39;ve cut my sister out of my life after one too many back stabbing. I realized her issues were self loathing, insecurity and jealousy. It&#39;s been 15 yrs since I closed the door. She keeps knocking but I never answer. It&#39;s quite liberating to be free of family toxins.
