Whats the status on people using the #pinephone as a daily driver? Which OS do you use? Honestly my phone is not that great so I if Pinephone has call and text support than I should be fine.

@Zach777 I have a UBports Community Edition #Pinephone. It only has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and the microSD card slot isn't reliable anymore. This has delayed my plans to make it my main phone. I consider Ubuntu Touch to be the most polished UI, unfortunately the system is based on the aging Ubuntu 16.04 and isn't really compatible with Linux distros in general. I replaced it with #Mobian a few months ago. Some consider it to be the most polished OS atm but not everybody agrees.1/2

@Zach777 I received my Pinephone KDE last week. At first sight Manjaro with Plasma was ok. Then started facing random freezes, battery issues and the phone wouldn’t respond. Then tried Arch, Manjaro with Phosh , Opensuse plasma and UBports latest build. UBports was the best among those (I use the phone currently without sim). Decided to do a update from non stable branch, this again messed up the OS. Finally last night tried Mobian.
