@galena Remember, the amendment to "end slavery" is very specific in that it doesn't apply to prisoners. Combine that with "there should be a law" Karens trying to lock up people for masks.

@galena Wow! That was a long article but I read all of it because I kept thinking the problem was solved. But it was remarkable that nothing is being done. I kept thinking reform was coming for these slave labor camps. The chicken companies even build dorms so they can get more cheap labor. This sounds like the Uyghur detention work camps in China. No difference, big name companies, cheap product, big profits.
