       @Ben One on one chats are more like Facebook. I wouldn't say the UI is meant to look like another major platform. It feels kind of like twitter, but I think that's the nature of Mastodon and Pleroma because of how posts and feeds are structured.Go ahead and make an account and try it out on a web browser.        UI has direct chat and light/dark mode. I’d suggest trying it directly before jumping on your favorite app.
