I think I need to watch “X” again. I remember it scared me, but I don’t recall the plot. Other movies like The Time Machine were broadcast on ABC New York’s 3:30 p.m. movie. If you were a kid born during the 60s they had theme weeks like Gidget. Boomer entertainment pre internet.

@timr @Doveydoo @oystergirl It starts with a therapist session (the real world presumably), and then it devolves into a waking nightmare. I actually have it on a CD. I think it is fair to say that the dividing line between sci fi and horror in that period (60s, 70s modern horror) not the Vincent Price, Peter Cushing type was that the horror stories were non-linear. Once the protagonist becomes entangled in the miasma they keep batting it away with no success. Dickens was kinder to Scrooge.
