I find it EXTREMELY unlikely that retail investors on message boards were able to raise the capital to move the entire market.Besides, the only result is that companies ARE NOT ALLOWING RETAIL INVESTORS TO TRADE.If the system is rigged, you have to have a plan to get around that. You don't just blunder into the tiger pit.The reason the stock market is so volatile is machine trading.When stocks hit a certain price, the machines automatically sell, which of course makes the drop worse.

@ThomasWic as someone who both trades and invests I agree 100%, this is what I’ve been thinking too. You know how much money the institutional guys are moving in and out of positions. That’s what moves the price, not a bunch of redditors with a couple of hundred bucks each. This whole thing is likely scripted by and executed with big bucks to have an intended outcome beyond what we are seeing now.

@ThomasWic I know you were born and lived in Venezuela and are probably even more cynical of the "justice system" than most, but, don't you think that there are punishable crimes that have been committed by those that opened the floodgates in the first place?
