       Man whatever happened to the Drunken Peasants? I used to love that show and then it ended and both shows that is spawned absolutely suck.Ben and Billy the Fridge are boring whereas TJ is even more of an insufferable faggot. The magic has totally gone.

       @ethot I'm not sure why I liked it so much since I always found TJ to be an insufferable faggot grifter. The show kind of had the perfect mix of cringe, conflict, guests and topical news. The community was actually pretty interesting too, I really liked the fan songs.You're probably right that the show was on a slow decline but I definitely think that it could have easily been salvaged.

       @ethot I think that timing with the adpocalypse and the declining patreon/fanbase and TJ getting fed up with the format made him want to move somewhere else and try something new. They were living in Seattle before which is notoriously expensive and with high taxes (blue state) so him, Scotty and Paul moved to Louisiana. Ben had done some sex pest type stuff and fucked a younger fan (lied to his wife about it). That was the pretense for the breakup but I'm sure it was just TJ wanting more money.

       @ethot I'm that given TJ's grifter roots and tendencies he was probably looking for a way to cut Ben out of his cut of the revenue of the podcast. I'm pretty sure that Ben received a huge cut of the money, bigger than Paul and Scotty. TJ was probably right to break up the podcast considering that he's making far more money now from his Deep Fat Fried but you can tell that he was content to simply let the fans believe the cheating narrative. Kind of fucked that he still makes money from DP.
