@hund As a follow-up, this recently just got shipped with Chromium Beta 88:https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/12/09/chrome-debuts-manifest-v3-api-for-extensions-spelling-real-bad-news-for-ad-blockers/Still looks bad (limits on adblock list amount), but we'll see how these pans out 😕

@hund download brave like crazy now. If need be fork the chromium stinky project. Full support on my side for both brave and duckduckgo. Lovin both projects. Googles dont be evil just went to hell on express elevator.

@hund btw tell it please to aussie news agencies heading for war with google and czechs whos search engine been killed by googles practices and who are suing for some 500mln usd as reparations. Id gladly see my polnd getting out from giggles shoe too and theres some 50% support for this in polih society as well as strong support in polish govt.

I'm surprised that they allowed adblocking addons to begin with. I guess they wanted to capture the users in their walled garden before before closing the gates. :)

@hund thanks. Will read through shortly. Id say perfect solution would be chromium minus giggle trash plus adblockers from brave minus braves lockin etc possibly open to different coins stockmarkets for all diff cryptos should brave become too powerful.

@hund Wasn't Google talking about crippling their networking API some time ago? Exactly the API that serious adblockers are using? I think Google tried to sell this change as something positive because it would better protect the user from bad extensions which would interfere with the networking...
