@nic I'm listening to it right now and I think you're doing excellent. You're consistently refuting his arguments and making your points. Instead of refuting your points he moves on to something else. This guy is in love with the state and simply doesn't see any positive to anything outside the state's complete control. You just owned him saying the largest wallets are omnibus exchange wallets representing user funds. Thank you this is great.

@nic well done. composed and well reasoned rebuttals. incidentally, i think his inability to even concede basic inflation data from the 1940s was telling. his america-state-centric views formed the basis of his arguments.

@nic He denies high inflation in the ’40’s - wrong. He dismisses that nation states are moving away from USD - trickle now, but momentum is growing. His pivoting anytime you call him out eg. ‘China owned all the Bitcoin and sold it to the US’?! He denies inflation exists and only points to CPI?! His horrendous statist argument that savings is not a valid use of money. Tether. Ho hum, who cares! Let him explain how BTC crashed from $20k to $3k. /1

@nic The obsession that distribution is unfair is tiresome and irrelevant. Fiat system has failed at this throughout time. BTC actually allows the smallest man to stand a chance in the future. Very ignorant US/western centric arguments based on pre-conceived and incorrect thesis eg. ‘Czechoslovakia’ – welcome to 30 years ago?! Russia and Iran are evil by default, so if they use Bitcoin, its bad. /2

@nic He believes Bitcoin is a a dead end technology, there is little that can be gained from anyone with reasoned thought to listen to his views on it other than to reaffirm their own dislike. Nic, I love your debating performances. Unlike so many, you can cogently address the raised issue and rebutt as necessary without losing your train of thought or pivoting. Something that is sorely missed in so much conversation in current time in any sphere. Very impressive performance.

@nic He is no where near an flummoxed individual like Peter Schiff, but at times he didn't realize he was presenting bitcoins past as the present. You absolutely slayed him on the China controls the bitcoin narrative, POW, etc. Really enjoyed the debate, thank you. Sending to my bitcoin peeps now.

@nic Excellent! I agreed with you, Nic, on every point. I don't know anything about anything, but it sounded to me like it mostly boiled down to simply the state versus the sovereign individual. And I simply don't worship the state and certainly not in its present form. This was highly educational for me. I can't thank you enough for taking this one on! And thanks for sharing! @nic You did great!The only suggestion I am thinking is that as a counter to calls of/for US Gov banning it's citizens from Bitcoin, we should be pointing out how detrimental it would be for the US.The pro-banning crowd seems to think that there would be no negatives from a ban.I think we should get across how bad it would be. The US would be screwed, as it's wealth flowed out.Totally screwed.No government can fight economics or tech long term, and Bitcoin is both.

@nic just finished listening. It was a great episode and you did a terrific job fending off Mike Green's IMO tired arguments (e.g., bad guys and distribution). The only criticism I have is that it sounded like you were on the defensive for most of the interview. Around 1:20ish I started to change my opinion, but to his credit Green was strong on the attack. If I didn't [think that I] know better (or needed to stifle FOMO/regret), I might have found myself agreeing with him more.

@nic maybe I'm being an idiot here, but Green seemed to be trying to slash you with whataboutisms and attempted to detract from your points by questioning your knowledge about certain details in kind of a patronizing way, and while I think it's underhanded and doesn't win him any points, it probably made him sound stronger from a normie's perspective.
