The establishment moves against ANTIFA.At first glance, a good move. Right?But consider again.These idiots are demonizing extremists on both the left and right, with outright purges and intimidation. The objective is to silence them. History proves how dangerous that is.Sure, radical anarchists such as ANTIFA may wage war against radical right-wing militias. @REX I find it fascinating that the left doesn't look to the Soviets fighting with the Allies to get the Nazis. Didn't really work out that well did it? Secondarily, if you cut bait after a group did what you needed, they will come AT you with a vengeance.

@REX Any resistance needs to be not centralized. Antifa is structured that way, no structure. That way no one has the ability to talk regardless of how much pressure is exerted upon them, they actually don't know.

@REX I've been thinking this too. The moment Antifa and right-wing radical groups get together, that's when things get bad.Both groups fundamentally believe the same thing, that the government does not represent them.I suspect Trump designated Antifa as a terrorist org for more reasons than we know.

@abnerhale @REX Is there a historical precedent for two competing ideologies to temporarily band together against their government? I don't know that it's ever happened before. The American left and alt-right are so diametrically opposed that I do not believe for a second they would do anything but brick windows together.

@REX Kinda like when the Papacy tried to rein in the Muslims they trained. They trained them before the Crusades and used them to take Jerusalem. After Jerusalem was taken, the papacy attempted to regain control of the people they had trained, and the land. The Muslims said “nope” and the papacy began an execution so horrible, they have created an apologetics team that still responded in 2015.
