@karnage @katsmow @Waterdragon1657 @Debradelai And middle income, too. But prices haven't fallen enough for wide adoption even for that. Solar as a practical economic thing is getting better, but still not good enough. Solar as a backup to enemy policies, on the other hand, is a good practical reason.

@katsmow @Waterdragon1657 @Debradelai You can also install your own backup generator. Hopefully you do not have to where you live, but that has to be an option for some of us if they start playing those games.

@Moleena Tellurium will not kill you, but it can make you unpopular. ... This is the smell of dimethyl telluride, which is the compound into which tellurium is converted by the body.Commonly used to Vulcanize rubberTellurium is found free in nature, but is most often found in the ores sylvanite , calaverite and krennerite. Today, most tellurium is obtained as a byproduct of mining and refining copper. Tellurium is a semiconductor and is frequently doped with copper, tin, gold or silver.

@WarriorPoet I know, right. 🙂1) Tellurium is too rare to sustain large scale solar panel production.New technology is needed to exploit the sun in this manner.2) Just that single factor considered, solar panels are not an ecological or sustainable option, at all.
