       Soooo is it true that Mastodon instances are full of commies and Pleroma instances are full of racists? I know it's just a meme, but i would like to know what is the opinion of the people of the multiple instances that are in the fediverse as a whole.

Even more disgusting is that so many people today think that Censorship, de-platforming and silencing opinions they see as unwanted - is the new standard how to handle opponents.The whole Internet has turned into a disgusting kiddie zone.        @DavioBasio Its like how it is everywhere else, you find all kind of people on different sides.But that is actually not the point, the point is that terms like racist or Nazi are thrown by a lot of people just into the game to silence unwanted opinions. The best way for them to silence someone is if the affected person is afraid of further voicing their opinions.And in such a sad state todays Internet is, that people who are either Conservative or having one or more Conservative views, or even people from the left who do also share one simple Conservative idea have to fear for their right of free speech

       @Saphir I could not agree more man, now deplatforming is seen as a good and just thing, which i find abhorrent. I still find comfort in the fact that the Fediverse exists and it exposes me to many different world views, plus the community has been really nice so far.

       @DavioBasio Today... if someone has no leftist/mainstream opinion, the only possible and recommended thing to do is to get a fast internet connection and if one has skills... create their own self-hosted Fediverse instance for others who are also suffering censorship.The only way in the future to ensure its getting more harder to be cancelled and de-platformed. It is actually sad that it had to come towards this.
