I may be biased but I think an unintended consequence of this politicized pandemic will be all around mistrust towards the medical community. people questioning sound medical advice because fauci and whichever bad apples last year were morons. Thoughts?

@watch4thedrop I'm already there. I didn't have far to go though. I helped nurse three loved ones through "cancer treatments." Terrible way to spend your last months on earth.

@watch4thedrop well, I already am. I no longer listen to anything from anyone who is “practicing” medicine unless I know them and trust them- like my own doctor. And oddly, of not, he thinks all of this is a disgrace,

@watch4thedrop Absolutely. Look at the distrust with getting the COVID vaccine. Our state will not treat COVID unless there is a need to hospitalize, causing many to look for meds out of state. And the mask police are insane in our area, you can tell people don’t believe the narrative. And that’s not a good thing

@watch4thedrop I agree. I think a lot of people - doctors and nurses included - have exposed themselves over the past year due to Covid & POTUS. I've permanently lost respect for quite a few ppl on the local, state, and national level. Even adults we know in the community. A bunch of nouveau tyrants with hate in their blood. Good to know!

@Dodgerprincess @watch4thedrop I am a degreed biologist. My father is a doctor. My sister was a microbiologist and now an emt, my mother was a nurse and a midwife. Even across that spectrum there is varying degrees of acceptance of the Fauci effect. Both my brothers with no science backgrounds and liberal leanings both LOVE him. People are easily led, but my sister and I both know, the science WAS NEVER THERE for what has happened across our country.

@watch4thedrop I agree, but would also add that hopefully people begin to take charge of their health. I know people who are prescribed meds for certain things and never ask a single question about why, side-efffects, nothing.. they turn their health over to the establishment.

@watch4thedrop In the past I have gotten medical advice from my family physician that I knew to be factually false. At that time, it didn't change my general opinion of doctors in general, or that doctor in particular. I respected them for their expertise and their altruistic vocation.After 2020 my mind has changed completely. My former opinions were naive.People should trust doctors the way they trust auto mechanics. Not all of them will scam you, but many of them will. Buyer beware.
