@algorithmconsultant I disagree, the design of the later games would not have made that much sense with poise, barring maybe 3, but armor was messed up in that game in general

@Erikstriker 3 is such a bizarre void for me, its a gorgeous game, and I dig the level design, but man, something about Ds1 cannot be beaten idk what it is.

@algorithmconsultant 1 has a really snappy pace to it that makes it more fun to just run through levels. But 3 though, man that is a nice game. The extremely gloomy atmosphere and story coupled with the soundtrack put it second only to Bloodborne for me

@Erikstriker Bloodborne is actually my least favorite gameplay wise. Ds1 and Ds3 allow for so many unique builds. Just take BB and give me Ds4 in it tyvm

@algorithmconsultant @Erikstriker As fun as it is to shit on 2, it had great build options. Pick any two random skills and you've probably got something viable with weapons made for it.Str+dexStr+IntInt+FthDex+AdpEtc. Etc.All of my fun in that game was replaying 4 times with wildly different builds.

@algorithmconsultant I like to play dex builds in every souls game so Bloodborne was totally fine to me. I will say that it lacks replay value, but the rest of the game is a masterpiece

@algorithmconsultant I mean if the damage numbers seem good then it likely is good. Not sure if miracles were viable in 1 but might be worth a shot if you want to go through the game again. I know that at the very least there were good faith scaling weapons in it
