@PRooney @StevenDouglas That's true actually, Repubs would see you as a former Dem who is trying to infiltrate the Repubs.I know I'd suspect that. Also, a traitor is always suspect, even if they brand themselves as an undercover agent (unless they were coordinating with others BEFORE the undercover work, like a cop).

@StevenDouglas That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea at first, but then you have to account for them eviscerating you as you move up politically. Plus you'd need awareness of this plan to get out so people don't just immediately discount the Dem.And even then, voter fraud.

@StevenDouglas @KodiakIsland there's elections every year if you plan on participating in the local, mayoral, and gubernatorial elections as well. I don't know how easy it is to switch affiliations but I think doing it every year will draw some attention. Probably easier just to request a few absentee ballots for your apolitical friends and family and vote republican if we gonna go the cheating route.
