my analysis is:bossman sold bitcoins when they were very highnow bossman comments somewhere where it makes ripples that bitcoin bad, people will say ooh aah and sell bitcoinsbossman buys bitcoins cheapbossman is happy and buys more things

@josh nothing burger. People are really bending to say double-spend. Nothing actually happened and seems like an edge case that could affects 1 confirmation deposits at most which isn't considered strong despite bitmex themselves doing it.

@crunklord420 @verretor @josh That article is dumb. Double spending unconfirmed transactions happens all the time. So it occasionally being seen in confirmed tx with a single conf, and small 1 block reogrg, is unsurprising.That's why if you are accepting a large amount of money you can't afford to lose, you wait for multiple confirmations. Which ~every exchange and other high-value use case does. The white paper itself had an example where six was needed.
