       reading newspapers has become an old fashioned thing to do startlingly fast. when i was a kid in the 90s, it was just how you got your news outside of TV and radio. they still *sell* newspapers, so i expect people are still reading them, but dad, a boomer, doesn't buy them anymore. he just reads news on the Internet.

       @thor I love paper periodicals and subscribe to several! And I’m a millennial. But who knows how long they’ll hang on - already several things I’d like to subscribe to are online only
