#soyface #consoomproductI was gifted a Lenovo ThinkPad travel keyboard which I've been enjoying a lot. Although they're somewhat harder to find nowadays, the build is of that classic ThinkPad caliber and it is extremely light and usable. With the TrackPoint, I can use this thing at the very long length of its cord and still have a keyboard and mouse.It works out of the box on Linux, but the main issues were the lack of a Windows key (which is easily remapped in my case), but there were also some minor key roll-over problems. I've recently learned I don't really need escape in vim. generally breaks through insert mode.For example: From insert mode, -J will go down one line and break insert mode.

I'm using a IBM RT3200 which is a desktop style keyboard with a clit mouse and dual PS/2 connector (one for mouse and one for keyboard.) I've been looking at getting one similar to what Luke has but the variant (IBM SK-8440) with dual PS/2 connector seems to be quite expensive.Pro tip:If you are fine living with VGA and PS/2 you can find quite cheap 4-way KVM switches on ebay. These switches have nothing but cables connecting the connectors to a big rotating switch so they shoudln't be a big problem even if you're paranoid of your airgapped machines being connected together. Here is a search term if you need it: "data transfer switch 4way vga ps/2"
