       Been browsing the threads on the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute... Made me wonder: if someone had a software invention on the level of bitcoin in the year 2021, where would they announce it?Seems like you'd want a place with a high signal to noise ratio.        @Atticusrexicus Part of Bitcoin's quality was being so non-obvious of a threat that it was ignored for way too long, and now it's too late to shut it down.A charm of Satoshi's announcement to that specific audience is that it was a very small number of people who were highly equipped to appreciate what he was doing.
