I had someone that I used to care about very much lash out at me online today and say some hurtful things. I moved back to CA, and she's in my old state. It's very clear to me that she's gone way down the alt-right rabbit hole. I didn't respond angrily, but politely. Arguing would have solved nothing. It's hard to see people changing. ๐Ÿ’”

@jrn People that I thought were reasonably intelligent have bought into the lies. I pretty much have held my tongue. I do find it offensive that people say an election was stolen simply because it didn't go as they wanted. I'm proud to say that that the county I live in was pivotal in flipping 2 senate seats in Georgia as well as the Presidential election. It voted at about 84% Democrat.

@777 itโ€™s been a difficult time for sure. I hope things settle down here soon.

@jrn The fear of a problem is often worse than actually dealing with a problem. The right wing is using fear to drive their actions. I think things will settle down when words of hope and not hate are coming from the President.
