Another thing I just don't get; the bizarre levels of sheer complicity and acceptance all of society has for this stuff. Actors, Police, Government Agencies, Ethics Committees, Game Developers, Politicians, Futurists, Banksters, Lawyers, Doctors, Militaries, Corporations, Social Media Influencers, Heads of State, everybody from all walks of life seems to 100% agree: screwing you in the ass is great!

@JTR People want to be able to talk about things with each other without being moderated by robots and overseers with an agenda. I think that's reasonable, and decentralized forums and social servers should be a more accessible option for people from all backgrounds. But the world isn't out to get you, it's just individuals operating in a way that benefits only themselves and their interests (aka Capitalism)

@Down10 No, it's more like corporate consolidation. A sort of ugly soft fascism we let slip because we've become OK with it, so we ignore the very real problem of giving Silicon Valley total power over the globe. Don't follow me? think about it.Why should people like Alex Jones and Trump have to go though things like this, even if you hate their guts? to the point that even Parler is deplatformed for using Amazon Web Services? at the bare minimum shouldn't we at least sue for anri-trust?

@JTR I think they need to have anti-trust regulations on all of them. The monopolies need to be broken up, because it's not doing us any good.
