@Gina I grew up on a chicken farm. I'm pretty happy to have 0 live chickens in my life. Our neighbors about a mile or two down the road had goats. I still remember the smell when the wind was right. Pretty happy to be a thousand miles from there too.

@piggo Ooof, they stink when you defeather them. I don't have a lot of experience with sheep thankfully. I'm hoping to keep it that way for the forever future.@Gina

@piggo Yea, that part I do kind of miss. We used to feed the chickens a lot of grass, and something about that darkened the egg yolk to something where the yellow was so dark it was almost orange. Much more flavorful than the eggs I get in the store.@Gina

@mike @piggo @Gina Aye, we have a few chickens and if they get grass and fresh leaves it makes a huge difference. We really wanted to free-range them when we moved to our current home but they're obsessed with the road and kept stopping traffic 😬
