IMHO Bitcoin's single greatest drawback was its inability to evolve. If it had governance, its market dominance would be so much greater than it is today. It's smart of Decred to figure that out early on.https://twitter.com/DigitalCashNet/status/1349034410998431748

@thedesertlynx well, #Bitcoin and all secondary products and projects have evolved enough to have become one of the most actively developed and relevant open source projects worldwide. On top of that, it is - by far - the most successful cryptocurrency with a market share of over 90% (excluding stablecoins etc.).So not even your basic assumption isn't accurate.

@GreenGecko where do you get that 90% from?

@thedesertlynx google Arcane Research - real Bitcoin dominance (it basically takes liquidity into account and doesn't include tokenized assets like stablecoins). 'Real' dominance should currently be notably over 90%, but I didn't find any current data about it.
