       @mistermonster it can go wrong, because just pulling the timeline directly from original instance will cause troubles when user will do something with them (replying, fav, repost, emojireaction, etc) as then client will somehow force user's instance to fetch the whole thread. If we will do this from user's instance, it will show only those messages that federated here and this is also confusing.Yeah, search in top bar was introduced in upstream Tusky and so will be included in next release.

       @Husky yeah that sounds more difficult than I thought, that behavior explains a lot of confusing behavior I've seen interacting on Fedi though. Is this by design in the AP spec, or an unforseen friction point in it, or a Mastodon design flaw that was inherited by later implementations?

       @mistermonster there was no new release, only dev builds.Search now is just button at top bar. It's not a tab.

       @Husky yeah that's what I meant, using the debug version right now.I don't really think doubling the width of the top bar is a UX improvement. And if I remove the title bar, the hamburger menu button is gone.You got rid of "delete and re draft" lol why? What was technically bad about it? I'm sure a lot of users liked that functionality.

       @Husky BTW exploring the changes in debug, I am very happy with the ability to add more than 5 tabs at the top, that was a needless restriction in husky IMO.
