@Moon the big crypto exchanges are a point of failure but that doesn't prevent people from having offline wallets and paying directly. there are still anonymous methods of buying crypto where you can pay cash or other methods. but yea. the infrastructure is there. adoption is the problem now.

Name records are just a json object, one of the attributes is the TLS cert fingerprint.I don't know if I can recommend namecoin itself anymore since it uses SHA256 proof of work, and there's a *ton* of SHA256 hash power out there just sitting idle that could attack the network.@meowski @Moon
