       Dang ... I made the mistake of sharing the weather alert I got yesterday -calling for snow this weekend-with our 5 yr old grandson. (Kids in this part of Texas rarely see snow.)And he was completely geeked about it.... Now the forecast has been *revised* and it's looking like it's not gonna happen for us.Come Monday, I've got some 'splainin' to do...

       @Lonestar The weather guy I watch always says to wait at least 48 hours before a weather event because it can change way too much before then. I'd have gotten excited too and probably do the same thing despite this advice. lol

       @Lonestar That could be a problem. I once took my granddaughter on a trip to Flagstaff and Sedona when she was, I don't know, four, maybe three years old, and we were staying in a fairly nice hotel that advertised an indoor pool. I mistakenly told her about it ahead of time. Well the pool was under repair, and the three-year-old could not understand that. So we went, the two of us, to look at the empty pool, probably five times in two days!
