       Trying to make sense of this forum. I see I have already followed 8 people. I don't know how it happened even though I like them all. Is this somehow connected to  youtube ? I do watch Saul and beard blather regularly.

       @deb_kite No. There is no connection to anything. When you signed in you were given a view of our basic rules and 8 followers by default, that you could opt out of. Of course you can also follo-unfollow whoever you want.

Welcome!You automatically follow some of the 'big dogs' when you create an account, it is not connected to youtube.you might want to look at @Debradelai , @ThomasWic  and/or @UncleBill 's profiles, there are some tutorials and informative toots there on how this place works and how to navigate.Happy to see you here!
