1) Personal thread: This has been such a rough year beginning in March for me (and prob for most of you here on QC): I lost my dad to aggressive cancer, then the draconian lockdowns started in CA, and then the riots, and finally the stealing of an election. I have barely slept these past weeks-my heart heavy, my faith challenged, my nerves shot. This forum has been a Godsend, really. I see the best of humanity on this forum: kind, patriotic people who want the best for our country...

2) There is so much fear & anxiety in the days ahead, but I think we all need to take some deep breaths, give and receive hugs, and pray with all of our hearts. We will need to be brave & discerning. We will need to be steadfast & hopeful. This country really is not the ugly one portrayed on the news. We Americans, by and large, are good & decent people. We also should pay attention to our local politics. Don't cave to the mob...
