@REX I've seen the elbowbump now, on the Politico article.Pelosi came from his back, insisting that they do it, and Pence, being a polite and respectful individual, complied. I didn't see any joy or contentment in his face during his speech, his activities, or, for that matter, this elbowbump.I wouldn't put too much into it.Pence supported Trump for so long, and now he was limited by the Constitution. Don't discard him on such faint claims. We will still need him soon.

@REX Let me ask you this - what would you have wanted him to do?Had he reject electoral votes directly, ignoring the Constitutional limitations - Trump might have won, but with an illegitimate process. Would have been better off then?And with Pelosi coming after his elbow - had he pushed her away in contempt, visible in front of the ENTIRE CONGRESS on such a fateful day - would he or Trump have been better off?I find both answers negative. And this explanation is good enough for me.

@Jarhead_Vet @REX There really is no downside for the Dems to continue election fraud in perpetuity. It has worked in California for a long time now. No reason it wouldn't work in any state dumb enough to allow unverified mail in ballots and electronic voting machines. It only take the election of a corrupt Secretary of State one time and you are in.

@sonovagun The VP, in his role of presiding over the certification debates, may accept objections from Senators and Reps for the electoral votes from any state separately, and send them for a renewed discussion.The results of this discussion is what counts, and the VP can only conclude in this way.He has NO authority to reject EC votes on his own. And thus we should be glad that he didn't. We all still need his legitimacy.@REX
