Someone riddle me this.If Loeffler and Perdue lose this GA election, then the Dems have the Senate AND the House. So if Trump were to successfully get a 2nd term, wouldn't they simply be able to re-impeach and then remove him from office?

@Jaime As long as he can't be removed from office, they would make his life a living hell for a maximum of 2 years.Cause a Republican majority House is all but certain in 2022 for me

@yourworstdissenter But that would be the least of the troubles ahead. Not so easy...Besides, 50/50 still would have Pence as a tie-braker, so control my foot. With those numbers, the party in the WH controls the Senate. There goes your riddle.

@yourworstdissenter @StevenDouglas USA Congress Senate with 50 partisans from 2 parties that vote 50-50 tie is broken by the President of the Senate, which is the Vice President. (This is in the US Constitution.)The President of the Senate opens & counts the electors from the Legislatures for POTUS & VP. He has plenary power as do the legislatures. There are no Legislature electors from the contested states, just some junk mail from frauduluent execs. 12 Amendment. Both USA Constitution.

@yourworstdissenter @bwa_aptosThe VP and nobody else on Earth has absolute plenary power. Over the count. Only a Constitutional Amendment, not statute or rule, can override that. The exercise thereof is not unprecedented. Precedent runs in all directions, starting with VP Jefferson counting Georgia's four Constitutionally defective electoral votes for himself, and himself into office. We are about to see the JUSTIFICATION for him to exercise that non-appealable, non-justiciable, power.

@StevenDouglas @yourworstdissenter I also think he has every right to ignore any junk mail from anywhere that States pretended to hold elections that were contrary to Legislative laws, regardless of how many there were that did that, I think way more than just the well known contested “battleground” States, regardless of who they sent in such junk mail for. However, I also think he has a right to discern who might have counted those illicit elections correctly and who not, but that’s more ify

@bwa_aptos @StevenDouglas @yourworstdissenter I prefer the purer version, but I do not trust the House and Senate to vote for the right POTUS and VP.

@bwa_aptos @yourworstdissenter If Pence calls for a vote, listen to the exact wording he uses. It won't be a vote to "decide". Pence will be effectively holding court. A Supreme Court in its own extremely narrow right. If there's a vote it will only be to get everyone to "weigh in" before he makes a final decision on how to proceed.

@bwa_aptos @StevenDouglas @yourworstdissenter I just read the 12th again. No one has to certify the electors, but the Legislature has to have legislated or stated who they are. Not the Governors.
