@splinear This is only intended to increase racial discord, especially by throwing trans in there since most people already don't like them. The result isn't actually hate though, the result is eventually rational people have to pick one of two options. Either to decide these are a loud minority of a given community and ignore it, or decide that the cost of "getting along" is too high. I don't personally care about race, but if they've become an ideological bloc reflected by the riots this year, the cost of that ideology has grown too great to allow to continue without use of force to stop their socialist colour revolution.Every time I see this kind of thing, I'm sure an increasd proportion of the nation is ready to export all blacks to Liberia.

@leyonhjelmI know what you mean. I really don't want to see a resurgence of *real* racism in this country, or homophobia, or sexism, or transphobia. (Real means overt, not exaggerating microaggressions.)Right now, pushing back against the excesses of these Marx-inspired "liberation" movements gets you branded as hateful. Eventually, the words will lose impact and people will not be deterred by them nor reflect on their actions. It will get ugly.

@splinear The thing is endemic racism was dead a quarter century ago. People were over it and happy with that. The only lingering racial hate was against bad ideas, bad cultures, and bad actors. This is why every time the Democrats go to bat for a "race" they really are going to bat for the worst elements they can conflate as being part of that race. Drug cartels (Mexicans/latinos). Gangs (blacks/Latinos/Asians). Career criminals (blacks). Illegal immigrants (latinos). "Muslims" but really meaning terrorists (Arabs). These people are not representative of a race but are the squeakiest wheels. And the goal seems to be to align the races with their worst members. I think the Democrat faithful are the most racist thing we have left in our society.

@ChristiJunior I set my limit years ago and they met it in May. My view has nothing to do with race but with the treatment of race as faction. I believe this is almost exclusively an urban phenomenon these days and I suspect the real problem is actually urban people in general, not by race. I'm willing to ship basically all of Portland to Liberia and I'm not of a mind to test them against a Pantone chart to find out which ones go.@splinearcd2befa7391700e997f5e3d6d440340…

@leyonhjelm @splinear "Racism" means noticing differences between groups and prefering your own group."Racism" has always existed and always will.Most people do not have negative intent in doing so; they simply want to live in White suburbs or whatever. They recognize that different groups have different behaviors. They are not cruel about this.In the past, they would try cracking down on other groups when they got too close. Dumb strategy, but people are not bright.Then, they started simply moving away.In the Obama years, that became impossible, and racial animus exploded.

@leyonhjelmThat's a new viewpoint I had not heard before. People who live in big cities mystify me. Why would you want to deal with the noise and rudeness and getting jostled just walking down the street when you could have peace somewhere else?There's nothing in any museum or on Broadway worth actually living in NYC. I hated just visiting. I think they're all secretly miserable.

@splinear It's not a secret. Think back to a rich person and a poor person from an urban center, and a rich and poor person from a rural area. In most cases, the urban person will bitch about things that he either cannot or will not do anything about. The rural person will list the things he intends to do something about or something he is incapable of but is trying to find someone to help him take care of.
