Was pretty painless to get the nextcloud data dir pointed at my big HDD thanks to Yunohost's good docs. I opted not to try linking directly to my existing nextcloud data dir on the drive. There is some cruft that I won't be needing anymore so I'll just move specific data folders to the new dir.

DNS records configured correctly now, lets encrypt cert issued successfully. Everything working well. Highly recommend yunohost for selfhosters that don't want to or can't spend a lot of time administrating a bunch of services by hand.

Does anyone know of an xmpp client for iOS that has working push notifications? ChatSecure on my wife's phone doesn't seem to receive my messages when its in the background with the screen off.

@kelbot I know this doesn't help, but from what I understand, Apple developers are charged a premium to use Ios's notification service - and as such - you tend to find that indie software doesn't work too well because of this.

@kelbot ive been meaning to check out yunohost for a while. my main worry with these kinds of preconfigured things is, what happens when something breaks, will this create even more administrative work for me down the line?

@Ludonaut Yeah, valid concern. There's going to be a bit of that chance with anything along these lines but with yunohost I've heard good things from people I trust and its been around for a long time so I feel fairly confident in it. The documentation is good as well and from what I've seen the underlying structure is pretty standard stuff that should be pretty easy to wrap your head around if you had to.
