       @kavbojka @xj9 (repeated)They do not exclude anyone on the basis of identity, except when this is deemed necessary to guarantee the safety and comfort of other participants (i.e. cis-men may be excluded from certain feminist gatherings).Absolutely typical. I fully support the creation of anarchist communes and would like to join one myself but this is just toxic. What would your reaction be if someone makes a space that excludes blacks for the “safety and comfort” of their white participants?

       @Hyolobrika @kavbojka the correct exclusion filter is strong social bonds such as friendship, love, and domestic partnership. an extended and queer conception of family i believe is a potential solution to the Asshole Problem and provides powerful levers for mobilizing mutual aid even under very difficult circumstances because Love is a much stronger motivator than Ideology.
