It might be time to change sides. Blue just won't listen. In 2021, I suspect my hat will turn red.Wear the hat that fits.

@sillystring I should dabble a bit in red teaming myself, been blue team all my professional life.

@sillystring It wasn't easy to tell whether you're speaking of cybersecurity or politics~

@sillystring I feel like there's some sort of game-theoretical law that given a world where your only choice is between 2 political parties, your ideal strategy will converge on backing each one of them 50% of the time.

@cjd I was thinking more of red and blue teams in cybersecurity but I like what you said. It's very interesting what happens when a democrazy has two parties both dominated by money. Unfortunately it's beyond my specialty to really speak on.

@rysiek I suspect it would be very easy and fun for you or I to transition.

@sillystring or get proportional representation implemented and you can start to vote for people that represent you rather than a party that doesn't have to listen to you.

@isobel Oh I'm not talking about politics. My bad. Didn't realize how it looked. I'm talking about infosec and my boring work life.

@lx @sillystring What do the red and blue teams do in this context (semiconductor manufacturing)?

@amiloradovsky @lx In the distant past I've heard red and blue used for operating systems. Good question. I don't know about semiconductor manufacturers but I wager they have a similar theme.

@sillystring @lx I heard that the engineers at AMD were referred to by the color, depending on whether they worked on the CPUs or the GPUs.
