@Tay0 powerful analogy. Reminds me of that Matrix quote in which Morpheus explains to Neo that the hackers are able to evade the machines' control with unused or unknown exit nodes. But eventually these will be controlled by the machines as well, so eventually someone will have to start fighting them back in order to survive.It's the same with us today, except the machines aren't the villain here, just mere servants of the surveillance mastermind.
