The annoying thing about Peruvian restaurants is it's not possible to just sit down and order without the server assuming you've never been to a Peruvian restaurant before. First time, every time.

@tedu What would you expect to be the difference between the first and subsequent visits?

@benno I'd like to get to the point where the assumption is people are returning guests. When I go for sushi (or anything else), they don't spend five minutes explaining what it is.

@tedu Have you considered this could be a cultural thing? Maybe peruvians find it rude to not get an introduction?PS: I just started reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peruvian_cuisine

@tedu For example, when having dinner at a Norwegian mountain hut, the cook will first give a little speech reciting the menu of the day, the reasons for his choice and possibly some story about traditional customs in preparation, hunting or just random made up things. All while the patrons are starving.

@benno oh, nice. I think they are just trying to be helpful.I think what I'm really saying is more people should try Peruvian so there's more Peruvian restaurants so I can eat it more often. It's good.
