The direct association of sexuality with physical procreation is actually not as "traditional" as some may think - it was more about the metaphysical unification of the male and female principle (see Evola's Metaphysics of Sex, for example).

@luke It's made explicit in various traditional texts of Hermeticism, Tantrism & Taoism which he does quote (some interesting notions of sex "decaying" to the point of procreation), but it's rarely a thing in the Christian traditions. The Coomaraswamy essay "Primitve Mentality" goes into some traditions which consider sex causally entirely unconnected to pregnancy, pretty interesting.

@amerika @luke @torresjrjr There is no gentle way to reshape every single corporate entity in your country, not at implementation in accounting, and not in the after-effects when remove the financial motivator for credit from your world. Unfold, incrementally, how this would apply to rotating loans, for example. Do you know any companies that use a complex financial instrument like a loan?

This is roughly how I intuitively have understood “crimes against nature” all along, although I’ve never considered my word usage of “nature” linguistically. It’s very satisfying to see that this intuition is actually justified or at least corresponds to a deeper understanding of the notion. What I now wonder is: Are now crimes against nature seen (say by T. Aquinas) as more severe than crimes against fellow humans? Would a murderer be less of a sinner than an unapologetic sodomist? How about a rapist? Is nature put before the human soul?By the way, I’ve just seen that you are listed as a guest on Millenniyule 2020.
